Accessibility

Our church is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities. We are committed to treating people with disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and we are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner. We will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility, meeting accessibility requirements, and the principals of non-discrimination as outlined under the relevant legislation related Human Rights and Accessibility.

 

Training for Employees and Volunteers

Our church is committed to provide, training to employees, and volunteers, as well as those involved in the development of customer service, policies and procedures, on the requirements set out in legislated standards of accessibility and relevant Human Rights legislation.

 

Website

Our church will ensure that our Internet websites, including web content, conform to the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at Level AA except where this is impracticable.

 

Feedback

Our church will continue to ensure that its process for receiving and responding to feedback is accessible to persons with disabilities by providing, or arranging for the provision of, accessible formats and communications supports, upon request. For any questions or feedback, please contact us.
